Love Kielbasa and cabbage? Then you will love this fast and easy Kielbasa and Cabbage Skillet Recipe. My family asks for it at least twice a month, especially this time of year when we have fresh cabbage in the garden.

Not only is it delicious but its a great low carb, gluten free meal that is Keto friendly and can be ready to eat in only 30 minutes. This makes it great when you need a quick healthy and delicious easy dinner recipe to serve a family of 6.

What Is Kielbasa?

It is delicious spicy sausage that is packed full of a zesty garlic flavor. Normally made of pork, but beef is also available. Most brands are already fully cooked so it is just heat to 168° – 172°F and serve. And serving is the super easy part since it can be used in so many different ways.

How Do You Serve Kielbasa?

This is the fun part. It can be served in a number of different ways such as grilled, baked, fried and even boiled. You can slice it into thin slices or cut in into larger bite-size pieces how ever you like. My family likes thin slices.

It can be used in casseroles, stews, soups, served on sandwiches and it’s even delicious served for breakfast with eggs. In addition to this Kielbasa and Cabbage Skillet recipe, try out my Kielbasa with Peppers and Onions recipe too. It is sauteed in my special homemade spaghetti sauce recipe. So pretty much, any way you cook Kielbasa is delicious!

  1. Hi Dianne,
Your Kielbasa and cabbage recipe sounds great. One question, though. You say 1 Pk Kielbasa. I’m assuming pk means package. How big of a package is used? 1/2 pound? 1 pound?
    Love your blog.
    Linda

    1. Hi Linda,

Sorry about that. Yes, pk does mean package. Thanks for asking this, I’ll fix it for others. I use the 1 pound package, actually it’s only 14oz’s but the largest size. I’m so glad you like the blog. Let me know if I can help with any questions.
