Best Ever Crispy Stove Top Hash Browns
Ingredients:
- 6 cups – Frozen Shredded Potatoes
- 1/2 tsp – Salt
- 3/4 tsp – Pepper
- 3 Tbsp – Coconut Oil
Instructions:
Using a large iron skillet, I use a 10 inch, heat over medium-high heat to get really hot. Once iron skillet is hot, add 3 tablespoons of coconut oil to cover the bottom of skillet well. Tilt to cover bottom surface thoroughly

Toss in frozen homemade hash browns. Spread into an even layer about 1 inch thick, add salt and pepper to your taste. Iron skillet should be hot when adding hash browns. They will “sizzle” – leaving uncovered

At point, to help prevent splattering, I use a splatter screen like this one. They work really well; reduce heat to medium

Remove and serve hot

- Don’ try to flip the whole pan at one time, do this in sections
