    Meet The Author

Dianne Hadorn grew up on a family farm and barely knew what a grocery store was. Her family grew and preserved 95% of their food, including meat. She spent the summers in the garden and kitchen preserving food for the year with her mother.

She now lives with her husband, Jarrett, of 32 years, on their 13-acre homestead, where they currently grow and preserve 75% of their food. When the pandemic hit, their food supply remained the same, so their lives continued as usual.
